We have an exciting new service coming to the Hub. It was mentioned at our AGM that many people within the community are unable to get to Inverness to have their hearing aids serviced. Olivia got in contact with Amanda Wilson who is the NHS Deaf Services team lead and they have arranged for a member of her team to come out to the Community Hub on Tuesday the 5th September to check hearing aids. They provide hearing aid maintenance, batteries and tubing.
We hope this will be a helpful service within our community and many people will benefit. If you are unable to get down to the Hub, give us a call and we can discuss community transport.
