Admin Assistant (Part-time) Organisation: Boleskine Community Care (BCC) Hours: 10 per week (flexible) Location: Foyers / hybrid possible Contract: 24-month fixed term Salary: £12.60 per hour (Real Living Wage) About Boleskine Community Care BCC is a community-led charity dedicated to improving quality of life, health, wellbeing and social connection across Stratherrick and Foyers. We deliver services, run community projects, and support local people of all ages. Role Purpose We are looking for a well-organised and approachable Admin Assistant to provide essential support to our staff, trustees and volunteers. The Admin Assistant will ensure the smooth running of BCC’s day-to-day operations. This includes handling correspondence, record keeping, and helping with communications and reporting. Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for enquiries by phone, email and in person.
  • Maintain accurate records, filing systems and databases.
  • Arrange meetings, prepare agendas and take minutes where required.
  • Assist with monitoring and reporting for funders.
  • Provide administrative support for projects, services and events.
  • Help with communications such as newsletters, social media updates and notices.
  • Order office supplies and liaise with suppliers.
  • Ensure all information is handled in line with data protection and confidentiality policies.
  • Any other duties as identified by staff and trustees. 
Person Specification Essential
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willing to learn new systems.
  • Able to work independently and manage workload within 10 hours per week.
  • Friendly, approachable and committed to BCC’s community values.
Desirable
  • Experience working in a community organisation or charity.
  • Experience supporting volunteers or community events.
  • Confidence with social media or website updates.
