Boleskine Community Care, in partnership with Highland Hospice (HH), provide professionally trained home care workers from the local area to provide support to local people, enabling them to remain in their own community.

Highland Hospice, an Inverness-based  organisation, manage the recruitment and training aspects of the service, creating sustainable employment for people who live in the community.

This unique model of care delivery uses the Self-Directed Support (SDS) system, offering much more flexibility and control for service users than the traditional model.

If you would like to find out more about the care at home service please speak with our Community Services Coondinator on 01456 486 247.

There is usually an activity on at the Hub so feel free to pop in if you wish to discuss Care at Home.

NHS Highland was also nominated for an award in the “Supporting Caring Communities’ category of the Highland Council Annual Quality Awards on 19th November 2015. The leader of the Self Directed Support Team Jennifer Campbell along with the Boleskine Community Care Manager at the time, Julie Russell, made the presentation.
