BCC Community Larder Launch

We’re delighted to launch our brand new Community Larder, a welcoming space where anyone can take what they need and, if able, give what they can.

This project is all about reducing food waste, supporting local households, and building a stronger, more sustainable community here in Stratherrick & Foyers.

This was made possible thanks to players of the National Lottery and funding from The National Lottery Community Fund Scotland – their support has helped bring this BCC vision to life.

We’re especially grateful to Stratherrick & Foyers Community Trust for kindly donating our fridge and freezer, allowing us to safely store chilled items.

We would also like to say a massive thank you to Arbie Worth at Strathnairn Timber Buildings for the fantastic job he did on the construction of the shed – built with care and craftsmanship to serve the community for years to come.

Lastly, huge thanks to our volunteers, funders and everyone who helped make this happen.
