BCC Named Finalists for Charity of the Year!
Posted on: 25/06/25

We’re thrilled to share that Boleskine Community Care was named a finalist in the Charity of the Year category at a recent awards evening — a true celebration of the hard work, dedication, and heart that drive our charity.
It was a fabulous evening, filled with excitement and community spirit. Our team dressed to impress, the champagne was flowing, and the atmosphere was electric. While we didn’t take home the top prize, we couldn’t be prouder of how far we’ve come and the recognition we’ve received.
This achievement is a testament to the incredible people who make BCC what it is. We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to:
- Our trustees — Billy Mackenzie, Katherine Grant, Susan Erlam, Neil Farnham, and Isobel Allen — for your unwavering leadership and commitment behind the scenes.
- Jo and Olivia, the welcoming, friendly faces of BCC, who continue to enhance our services and deepen our engagement with the local community.
- Our volunteer drivers, who ensure prescriptions are delivered, and residents get to appointments and shops safely.
- Our volunteer befrienders, who offer time, companionship, and meaningful connections to those who need it most.
- Our event volunteers, who help bring The Hub to life with vibrant social activities and a warm, inclusive atmosphere.
To all our volunteers and supporters — we see you, we appreciate you, and we wouldn’t be where we are today without you. Being recognised as a finalist is not just a moment of pride for our organisation — it’s a reflection of the strength and spirit of the community we serve.
Thank you for being part of our journey.
